Frog School

A new ecosystem for learning and connection in Vipiteno, Italy

The Frog School in Vipiteno transforms a 1970s structure into an open and vibrant architectural organism. The project centers on a new sunken plaza that serves as both an entrance and a public space, connecting the auditorium and the library to the life of the city.

The interior is designed as a fluid “learning landscape,” where flexible classrooms, laboratories, and mobile furniture encourage student autonomy and collaboration. Defined by a distinctive bright green facade and welcoming wood and terrazzo interiors, the building combines high energy efficiency with inclusive design, establishing itself as a new civic landmark nestled in the Alpine landscape.
